Full Job Description

As a Video Producer for Informa Markets Health & Nutrition, you will be joining a small but mighty team of video professionals supporting some of the healthy lifestyle industry’s leading events and brands. You have a strong creative and technical skillset and are passionate about producing thoughtful and engaging video content for both our internal brands and our clients. You will work together with various internal teams to bring video projects to life from concept to delivery. You should be an equal parts designer, project manager and video producer. This role is perfect for someone with creative vision who is looking to grow their skills in a supportive environment.Current working conditionsCurrently we are producing many of our events virtually. This will require you to have experience in screen recording, and basic live streaming workflows. We currently utilize OBS (Open Broadcast Software) and prior working knowledge of this software is a plus.Future working conditionsOnce we return to in-person events and conferences, the role may involve travel 4-5 times a year within the United States, to produce video content at our events. At in-person events you may be required to help produce live streams, produce interview content, and assist with on-site delivery of edited video assets.Essential Job Duties:

  • You will assist our team in creating high-quality video assets in many different styles including: Documentary, animated explainer, promotional, live video production, event highlight and recap
  • You will have the opportunity to manage the production workflow from pre-production meetings to production and post-production
  • You will leverage your abilities in digital video production, motion graphics and animation, graphic design, live streaming, sound design and post-production
  • Operate digital video cameras and related production equipment to capture high-quality video and audio
  • Use OBS software to stream or record virtual conversations and presentations
  • You will work both independently and also as part of a creative team
  • You will work with external partners such as freelance editors, production crews, and AV support teams to assist with production needs
  • You will help manage our archive of video assets and media
  • You will leverage your time management and project management skills to identify when resources are needed and work across teams to achieve required production objectives
  • You have the ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment and turn productions around quickly while maintaining a high level of quality

What skills and experience do I need?

  • You have at least 1-3 years of video production experience
  • You have proficient working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and related Adobe Creative Cloud programs
  • You are experienced in both in-person video production and remote video production workflows like live streaming
  • You are a strong editor and know how to tell an impactful story using a combination of music, video footage, stock video assets, and motion graphic based video elements
  • You have a keen eye for layout and design and are passionate about maintaining brand consistency in your work
  • You are organized and detail oriented
  • You have strong verbal/written communication skills
  • You enjoy giving direction to help people perform their best on camera
  • You are a life-long learner and enjoy staying current on new equipment, software and production workflows
