Full Job Description

The American Academy of PAs is seeking a qualified professional to provide contract support to the Research team to meet an upcoming project deadline for one of AAPA’s strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will be able to work independently to conduct literature reviews, analyze, synthesize, and critically evaluate research, and distill relevant information into key takeaways. They must be able to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.


Candidate begins work as soon as possible upon selection and may continue through mid-April or project completion. AAPA is open to both part-time and full-time candidates committing to a 6-8 week time frame. This position is remote with flexible scheduling.

  • Graduate-level experience in library science, research, social sciences, public policy, or a similar field
  • Exceptional written communications skills, as well as the ability to synthesize complex information and identify key takeaways
  • Must be familiar with conducting literature reviews
  • Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential
