Position Summary: The Production Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of various strategic multimedia projects, primarily supporting projects that include video and photography, from start of project through completion.

Responsibilities: Assists in the coordination of various multimedia production activities, primarily supporting projects that include video and photography. This includes project coordination, equipment and supplies inventory management, scheduling of staff, and coordinating vendor activities. Keeps employees and supervisors informed of day-to-day operational issues that effect production, work assignments, milestones, deadlines and any situation that could impact work unit output, and works collaboratively with others to problem solve. Breaks down scripts to create schedules and serves as a production assistant on set. Acts as the principal liaison between customers and their assigned work area, matching specific customer needs with the appropriate resources or equipment and working with the customer to ensure appropriate and attainable milestones and deadlines are agreed to. Serves as a key resource for the most effective way to achieve excellent results for the customer, often crossing boundaries to ensure upstream-and down-stream design and production capacity is appropriately assigned. Works closely with the leadership to offer insight into the overall direction of their work area, and to develop and compile work unit metrics to provide reports and pertinent information, compiling production statistics as needed. May facilitate process improvement within the work unit and/or in conjunction with other work units.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Media, Communications, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field, and a minimum of three (3) years’ professional employment experience in daily operations and production coordination.
