About The Role:

Goodwall is looking for a PR/Communications pro to join our global team. As our first dedicated Communications team member you will own the voice of Goodwall. We’ll be looking to you for guidance and expertise on everything from creating content to mingling with the media. You should be chameleon-like in your ability to communicate to various audiences: one day creating content for Millenials, and the next day for Fortune 500 leaders. This is a remote (US-based) role that will be working closely with our team in NYC, Switzerland and the Philippines so we’re also looking for a great communicator when it comes to teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

– Build out a company style guide to set a consistent tone of communication across our global team

– Create a PR strategy from the ground up that will help bring Goodwall’s work into the public eye

– Engage with our user community in order to craft engaging stories to share with the public

– Get to know our users and business partners and determine the best way to speak to them, whether that’s through our mobile app, website, social media posts, or blog

– Own all Goodwall content creation, both on the B2C side (Millennials, college students and recent grads) and B2B side (SMBs to Fortune 500s)

– Perform content audits of our website from both an on-page and off-page perspective and recommend impactful content optimizations and new content strategies to support the PR strategy

– Research media contacts at leading digital publications and pitch interesting and engaging content that result in building meaningful media relationships Monitor and respond to journalist inquiries as well as social media channels

About You:

– 2+ years of professional, full-time PR and Communications experience

– Experience being a “lone wolf” of PR and Comm: you’re no stranger to tackling challenges on your own
SEO-focused PR experience is a plus, but not required

– Excellent writing skills with the ability to speak to various audiences (wow us with some content samples!)

– Strong interpersonal skills – able to effectively build and manage relationships with media, user community and bloggers (as well as team mates!)

– Previous experience with startups is a huge plus, as well as experience working remotely with distributed teams

– As a remote worker, we’re looking for an independent thinker who can get the job done with minimal direction
