As a resume writer, you will have the opportunity to both review resumes and write resumes from scratch while managing your own work schedule and work load.
- Write resumes from scratch with client-provided data
- Edit and rewrite existing resumes
- Provide resume critiques according to BlueTek’s resume best practices
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with incredible attention to detail
- Experience writing and/or editing resume content, including crafting new content and making strategic decisions about what to include and what to remove
- Expert-level knowledge of MS Word – ability to reformat documents quickly and easily
- Comfortable communicating with diverse customers
- Patience and flexibility when responding to feedback
- Working and reliable access to a computer and the internet
- Self-starter with superb time management and organizational skills – resumes must be turned around within a very short time period
- Solid understanding of various industries and job functions including entry level, technical, professional, and executive roles
- Knowledge of various resume formats, ATS capabilities and the ability to determine the best formats for each individual
- Familiarity with LinkedIn profiles and flexibility to tackle additional services
- Recruiting or talent acquisition background
- Sales and marketing experience
