Founded in 2007, Quimbee is one of the most widely used and respected study aids for law students. With a massive and growing library of case briefs, video lessons, definitions, and practice questions, Quimbee helps its members achieve academic success in law school. Quimbee can be accessed on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Quimbee Attorney-Editors are outstanding legal editors who will ensure that each piece of content added to Quimbee’s database is substantively accurate, grammatically correct, and well written.
You’ll be assigned one or more projects on which you will be the lead editor. Each week, the legal writer(s) working on your project will turn in a new installment. You will edit every installment for substance and style in accordance with Quimbee’s style guide, provide feedback and guidance to the author(s), and ensure that each installment is publication ready. We will depend on you to ensure that projects move efficiently and are completed in a timely manner.
Quimbee Attorney-Editors work freelance on a per-project basis. You will be paid hourly at competitive rates. You must be able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week.
1. JD from an ABA accredited law school
2. Graduated top 25% of your law school class
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in legal editing or publishing
1. Law review or journal experience
2. Graduated from a tier 1 law school
