The Digital Research/Strategy Specialist will support the Digital Strategy team in executing media, industry and audience research projects, maintaining internal research library, providing digital strategy insights and other related activities as needed. This person reports to the VP, Account Strategy and will work closely with the Director of Account of Strategy.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Researching digital trends, client’s competitor landscape, industry best practices, market size and trends, industry drivers, and consumer needs leveraging internal and external research tools
  • Search and explore articles, news and research reports for charts, graphs and other data to share internally with the strategy team, sales and other teams via Yammer, Confluence, research library, etc.
  • Ensure research projects are delivered in a timely manner and contain clear, consistent, accurate and relevant information
  • Work closely with Director of Account Strategy to help position research data in a creative and concise manner
  • Update, organize and maintain internal research library
  • Stay-up to date on digital advertising news and trends
  • Assist with business analysis, trending, planning and reporting as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years’ agency, digital media and/or research experience
  • Proactive and strategic approach to data, research and audience analysis
  • Ability to write clearly, analyze data and summarize data
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with research tools, including comScore, CompetePro, and Simmons a plus
  • Working knowledge of programmatic and/or digital media, including search, display, mobile, video, and social a plus
  • Strong long-distance communication skills using email, instant messenger platforms, and phone
  • Desire and ability to work from home
  • Selfless, roll-up-sleeves attitude with own department and peers in other departments
  • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
