We’re looking for a Corporate Affairs Intern who will join our Corporate Affairs team.


This part-time paid position will be filled by a university junior or senior with the goal of exposing the selected candidate to the varied aspects of corporate affairs, with emphasis on corporate social responsibility and community relations. This internship will be a fully remote position. Work assignments will complement university studies, where applicable, and be meaningful in nature.


What you’ll do in this role:


Corporate social responsibility

  • Sustainability research

    • Collect and analyze data and narrative information on company-wide responsibility achievements and plans to inform responsibility reporting.

    • Write and edit report content as assigned.

    • Research best practices for corporate social responsibility and present findings to team.

  • Grant renewals and disbursements

    • Collect and review environmental and community garden grantee reports.

    • Summarize reporting data and prepare presentations for executives and foundation team.

    • Assist with annual grant disbursements and notifications.

  • Thought leadership

    • Draft and help place articles and other submitted content.

    • As needed, research and draft position papers on areas of corporate priority related to sustainability.


Community relations

  • Support associate volunteerism program promotion and tracking.

  • Review and respond to general inbox inquiries on topics including grant and product requests and sustainability.

  • Process approved product donations.

  • As needed, assist in planning and executing associate volunteer events.


Public and government relations

  • Research and draft policy position papers on areas of corporate priority.

  • As they arise, assist with virtual and, as appropriate, Marysville on-campus events involving community partners, nonprofits, and elected officials.



  • Generate content on corporate affairs topics for associate communications channels.

  • Contribute to communications knowledgebase, including corporate style guide, image banks or other assets needed.

  • As needed, populate social content pipeline for CSR, social justice, community relations, and youth empowerment content.


What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school.

  • Possess strong analytical and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication.

  • Prioritize collaboration and problem solving.

  • Manage multiple tasks and be detail-oriented.

  • Have prior internship experience (preferred but not required).
