You should be able to compose knowledgeable features or comprehensive step-by-step articles, with the opportunity to branch out to other sections on our site as well. When possible, writers are expected to provide quality photos to complement their articles.

Writers are paid between $25 and $35 per article and have the opportunity to work closely with their editors to develop future topics and project ideas. Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be aware of DIY trends and be able to create (and photograph) unique projects and tutorials to inspire the DIY community. You won’t only be a writer, but an influencer. Here’s your chance to claim your piece of internet DIY real estate!

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Knowledge of DIY trends and news
  • The ability to write engaging, step-by-step tutorials in a conversational tone
  • Above average photography skills
  • Creativity
  • Research and fact-checking skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines

Rates will vary but average between $25 and $35 per article. This is a freelance, telecommuting position.
