Full Job Description

Job Summary
Provides general pre-sale and service support for the Call Center Licensed Sales Representatives and Marketing Representatives. Provides general information and appointment scheduling via cold calling and answering incoming calls.

Job Duties
Cold calls potential enrollees of the Geisinger Health Plan to establish an appointment or provide general information.
Prospects may include but not limited to Medicare participants, small business owners, employees of companies offering health insurance, and individual subscribers.
Performs surveys of prospects, employers, or employees to obtain information useful to the Health Plan’s marketing effort.
Answers incoming calls when necessary.
Provides general information, answers questions, provides general direction to potential clients.
Routes incoming calls to appropriate representatives within organization.
Be responsible for on-going maintenance to database according to current requirements.

  • Location: Hybrid / work from home and in office in Pittston, PA

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)

Experience
Minimum of 1 year-Sales (Preferred)
