Hone your skills and expertise while creating opportunities for triathletes to live their best lives.We hope you are ready for a fulfilling challenge.Position SummaryThis position assists the Business Development team in sourcing new leads for prospective USA Triathlon Partners, generating creative concepts to pitch prospective partners, and staying up to date with key market and industry trends to identify strong fits for potential brands to join the USA Triathlon Corporate Partnership portfolio. Additionally, this position will assist the Corporate Partnerships team in the account management of USA Triathlon Corporate Partners, media buys, and expo sales.General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other USA Triathlon business units, corporate partner services team, marketing and communications team, external agencies, and the USA Triathlon Foundation
  • Generate weekly leads lists of potential Corporate Partners
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and emails daily
  • Provide analysis reports of endurance industry trends, and high performing endemic and non-endemic brands
  • Identify key endemic and non-endemic categories for USA Triathlon to target
  • Compile creative concepts to be pitched as activation opportunities for potential partners
  • Support corporate partnership sales efforts as necessary, including development of presentations, research and lead generation
  • Strong focus on finding USA Triathlon Supporting Partners, media buys, owned event expo sales

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, business, sports administration or a similar field
  • Minimum 1-2 years background in sports marketing or sales
  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in contemporary digital technologies and social media platforms; software abilities should include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception through execution
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment as part of a team atmosphere, including effective coordination with other business units
  • Experience within, or knowledge of, the multisport or endurance industries is encouraged
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States of America

Job Information:

  • This is a non-exempt part time position not to exceed 29 hours a week.
  • Pay rate: $15 per hour
