Peraton is seeking an Administrative Functional Support in Suffolk, VA to perform normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; screening, controlling access, and escorting; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Coordinate subcontracted facility repairs, installation/maintenance of equipment. Ensure that workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state occupational safety and health standard provisions of any labor agreement, ensuring that all required records are prepared and maintained. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and visitors, take phone calls, and answer general questions.
  • Issue control badges to visitors and employees as required; record arrival and departure
  • Perform clerical duties, arrange meetings, and site events
  • Order facility supplies, handle incoming/outgoing mail and Fed Ex shipments
  • Facilitate and coordinate day-to-day operations/ light maintenance / functional events
  • Coordinate and support Intra-office personnel movements and employee relocations with regards to space planning and business requirements
  • Support Facilities related Data Calls / Metrics
  • Support facility/building modifications and improvements
  • Support EHS site requirements
  • Implement policies regarding physical access to facilities, systems and equipment
  • Coordinate with Facility Security Officer to maintain and improve overall security posture of the facility
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Site Facility Lead

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 2+ years of related work experience.
  • Self-starter and team player with attention to details
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Great communication skills and ability effective engage across diverse functional work groups
  • Experienced use with MS office applications

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience using Lenel security products (cameras, readers, etc.) or equivalent
