Overview

Pathways Weekend On-Call Coordinator will play an essential role on our weekend operations team during non-business hours, while having the comfort and flexibility to work remotely. The ideal candidate has computer and software skills and will enjoy being a key resource to our patients, their families, referral sources and our staff.

Responsibilities:

– Act as intake for any new patient referrals that happen during your shift and data-enter them in our electronic health record

– Manage our electronic fax and referral management systems

– Be able to identify and act upon information impacting weekend or Monday’s operations

– Field calls from our answering service and disseminate information timely and accurately

– Document all calls in our electronic health record

– Call patients nightly to confirm appointments for the following day

– Perform the scheduler function for any changes that happen during your shift

– Help prepare Monday’s schedule

– Communicate with weekend staff effectively and ensure all weekend appointments have been addressed

Requirements:

– Weekend and evening availability

– Must commit to at least one weekend (Friday evening – Sunday night) per month

– Must commit to at least one major holiday annually

– Must complete 8 hours of training at office during normal business hours (paid)

– Commit to on-going education and training as needed (paid)

Skills:

– Enjoy working remotely on a laptop on multiple different electronic records and platforms

– Technical skills must include proficiency using computers, scheduling software, etc.

– Great attitude and compassion for our staff and patients

– Independent problem solver and critical thinker to aid our staff and patients
