A small manufacturer seeking an Office Assistant/Customer Service to enter financial transactions and to handle shipping transactions using QuickBooks software and spreadsheets.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
* Answer phone.
* Greet walk-customers.
* Enter sales orders and bill customers for shipments using accounting software.
* Contact trucking companies in arranging LTL shipments. Use FedEx and UPS for smaller orders.
* Enter data to spreadsheets and QuickBooks.
Requirements for candidate chosen include:
* Strong organizational skills.
* Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
* Proficiency of QuickBooks and Microsoft office.
* Ability to learn and retain new skills.
* Experience in manufacturing setting helpful.
* At least 1 year of experience in office related work.
Small office setting. Must be able to pass background check.
Job is for 40 hours per week or might consider part-time for right person.
