The Moderator is a core member of the Harvard Business Publishing client delivery team who leads and facilitates blended learning programs. Moderators work in collaboration with HBP staff and work directly with learners of our four primary programs: Leadership Direct™, Breakthrough Leadership, Harvard Manage Mentor™ and the New Leader Program.
Learners can span all levels from new managers to emerging leaders, mid‐level managers, or senior leaders within corporations, depending on which program the client selects. Moderators facilitate discussion of case studies and lead application exercises via videoconference, webinar or online discussion boards, debrief simulations, and lead some train‐the‐trainer sessions. In addition, Moderators may lead client calls, participate in orientations, write summaries, conduct needs assessments, assist in curriculum development, or create written materials. Some of our clients prefer in person delivery so there are opportunities for our Moderators to travel the world while delivering these rich learning experiences to participants in a live face to face environment.
