Pay

Hourly pay is $17.00 – 20.00 based on performance, appointment bonus is from $12.00 to $50.00 based on the complexity of the project, There is a quarterly bonus if you are one of the top five agents. We will discuss this during the first interview.

Expert Business Development, LLC is an established Main Line Philadelphia company looking for experienced, mature, articulate individuals to work either part time, at least 20 hours a week, or full time, calling on corporate executives and business owners to secure appointments for our clients in a variety of fields. We work in banking, IT, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing and other lines of business.

This position is project driven so you can be given full-time hours if they are available, part-time hours or flexible hours.  We cannot guarantee full-time hours.

Our appointment setters are not telemarketers. They are mature, experienced professionals that have an entrepreneurial spirit. Many of our agents have been with our company since we started the business over 18 years ago and come from the ranks of business owners, sales, IT professionals, bankers, insurance agents, recruiters and the like.

A candidate for this position must enjoy working on the phone and must be able to handle some rejection. Training is provided with a lot of support, however, you must have a strong sales or an appointment setting background, preferably B2B. It is necessary to be experienced and comfortable working with high level executives. You will be working as an independent contractor from your home office. We hire people from all over the U.S.

Required Skills

– Ability to work independently while adhering to company rules and guidelines

– Quiet home office with required high speed internet connection & router

– Desire for a long term opportunity

– Comfort and recent experience calling large companies/corporations as well as small to medium sized businesses

– Ability to get around gatekeepers

– Ability to quickly engage a Decision Maker in a dialogue – not read from a script

– Ability to build rapport with Decision Makers

– A disciplined approach to relationship building

– Ability to handle rejection is a must (this requires a person with a “thick skin”)
Highly Desired Experience

Business-to-Business, especially inside/outside sales

Strong sales and/or appointment setting experience preferred.
